马德玲 女士

北京市朝阳区凯文学校校长

A good education is always geared to the future and the world . During the AI era, the future society is full of uncertainty and fierce competition. School education is committed to cultivating children’s ability to face the future, to sense the happiness, to persist in learning, to think forward and to develop sustainably. A good school education should focus on creating a people-oriented health education ecosystem, cultivating the whole child with every teacher’s effort, nurturing people through culture and curriculum, so that students have the taste to create a colorful life, the courage to face unknown challenges, and the confidence to take on social responsibility.
Every CKWA student has been endowed with the spirit of “adaptability, courage, and perseverance”, with the expectation of becoming a brave, caring, intelligent, and adaptable leader. The school persistently builds a first-class international bilingual school deeply rooted in China, yet building an international education which prepares pupils for a global future. CKWA aims to cultivate independent elites through diverse and outstanding international courses. Whether it is the primary school curriculum, or the IB and A Level program in the scholastic track, the talent track, the Gaokao track, or even the AP program planned to develop in the future, we believe in “One School, One Culture”. We aspire to establish a sense of rules, respect individual development, embrace diverse vitality, and create a harmonious campus. In this big family, everyone respects each other, understands and treats others with an attitude of encouragement, appreciation, and care.
A good education requires educators to maintain a positive relationship between teaching and learning. Teachers should view learning from the perspective of students and correctly analyze the effect of teaching on learning. At Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy, teachers’ skills in listening, innovative thinking, responding to challenges, and lifelong learning influence every action and decision in every classroom. Here, every teacher is an expert in learning, conveying the power of learning, helping students to grow through action, to understand through exploration, to generate trust through communication, and to see opportunities through mistakes. This enables all of us, the “little cranes” of Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy, to gain holistic abilities to face fierce competition and challenges on the international stage in the future.
Good education is a joint effort between family and school. Parents who fully understand the language of school education will positively affect the effectiveness of teaching and learning as well as students’ experience of school education. At Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy, teachers, students, and parents actively engage in dialogue and effective communication on educational issues, deeply influencing students’ experience of school education, generating synergy, and promoting students’ healthy growth.
Little by little, the bird makes its nest. The new academic year signifies a new beginning. Let’s set off at Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy and run towards the world!
