校长寄语

马德玲 女士

北京市朝阳区凯文学校校长

"Good education is oriented towards the world and the future. In the era of AI, the future society is filled with uncertainty and fierce competition. School education should strive to cultivate children with abilities for the future: the vitality to experience happiness, perseverance to learn continuously, the foresight to innovate independently, and the social skills for sustainable development. A good school should focus on building a student-oriented and healthy educational environment, developing individuals holistically, and nurturing all students. Through cultural influence and curriculum development, students are equipped with the creativity to lead colorful lives, the courage to face unknown challenges, and the confidence to take on social responsibilities.
Every student at Chaoyang KaiWen Academy is imbued with the spirit of the Crane—'freedom, courage, and reaching for great height’. They are entrusted with the expectation of becoming courageous, compassionate, wise, and adaptable leaders. The school persistently strives to create a successful international bilingual school with deep roots in instilling a sense of confidence in China while also developing an international perspective. With a diverse and excellent international curriculum, including the IB programme, AP programme, A-Level programme Arts Curriculum programme, and a quality National Curriculum programme. Our vision is to establish a disciplined, respectful, inclusive, and harmonious campus environment. In this large family, everyone shows respects to one another, understands, and embraces differences, and treats others with encouragement, appreciation, and kindness.
Good education requires educators to self -reflect on teaching and learning. Teachers view learning from the perspective of the students and continuously analyze the effects of their teaching. At Chaoyang KaiWen Academy, teachers are required to be skilled in listening, innovative thinking, accepting of challenges, and lifelong learners influencing every action and decision in every classroom. Here, every teacher is an expert in their teaching fields, conveying the power of learning, influencing students' growth through action, understanding through exploration, building trust through communication, and seeing opportunities through mistakes, thus enabling our 'little cranes' at Chaoyang KaiWen to develop comprehensive abilities to face a future of fierce competition and challenges on the international stage.
Good education is a collaborative effort between home and school. Parents' full understanding of the school's educational philosophy will positively impact the effectiveness of teaching and learning and students' experiences of school. At Chaoyang KaiWen Academy, active dialogue and effective communication between teachers, students, and parents on educational issues profoundly influence students' experiences of school, creating synergy and promoting students' healthy development.
Like the growing of immature forests and the continuous flow of rivers, a new semester marks a new beginning. Let us set off from Chaoyang KaiWen Academy towards the world!"
