CKWA Tuition & Fee Policy 2021-2022
A. Tuition and Other Fees
1. Registration Fee
A non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of RMB 2,000 must be paid by each new applicant as an administrative fee that initiates the application review and admission process.
2. Deposit
The deposit is RMB 20000, which is a one-time fee charged by the school without interest after the parents decide to accept the admission. The deposit will be used by the school to reserve the place for the student, invest in teaching resources, human resources, and other resources in advance. Only paying the study deposit does not guarantee the admission qualification of the student. Students also need to meet the enrolment conditions and school requirements.
If a student applies for withdrawal before the enrollment registration date, the deposit will be used as compensation for the early investment of the school (including enrolment place, human resources, etc.), which will be directly deducted from the fees paid by the parents.
3. Books and Materials
An annual fee of RMB2,600 covering student textbooks and related textbook materials is payable and non-refundable.
4. Tuition

The Tuition is mainly used to afford the costs of providing high-quality education. The school charges different benchmark tuition fees in accordance with the principle of “students moving to the grade level in the same phase of study shall be charged in accordance with the tuition standard at the time of enrollment, and students moving to a higher phase of study shall be charged in accordance with the latest tuition standard notified by the school”.
The tuition of new students and returning students must be paid in full before due date stated on the invoice. The tuition of new students enrolled in the middle of an academic year will be calculated based on the number of the rest school days in the academic year since the date of enrolment, and must be paid in full within the payment period regulated by the school.
About the Principle of Tuition Fee Change :
CKWA provides four phases of study: Reception, G1-G5 (primary school), G6-G8 (middle school) & G9-G12 (high school).
Tuition will remain unchanged compared with the year of the student’s enrollment if the student still stays within the same phase of study.
If students enter into a higher phase of study, namely from K to G1, G5 to G6 or G8 to G9, then the tuition will be charged based on the latest tuition standard notified by the school in that specific year.
Sibling Discount
This discount only applies to the family with two or more siblings attending CKWA at the same time. The child who attends the lowest grade level pays full tuition, while the other child/children enjoy a 20% off the tuition.
5. School Uniform
Students should buy school uniforms in accordance with the school dress code and wear them to school as required. For specific school uniform policies (including purchase process, etc.), please refer to the Parent Handbook / Student Handbook of each section.

Transferred students and existing students who apply for school buses in the middle of the term shall be calculated according to the actual school bus taking day. In circumstances that students don’t take school bus for a whole month, a whole monthly school bus fee will be charged.
