过去两周，丰富的艺术盛宴在朝阳凯文的中小学部蔓延展开。
在中学艺术周，艺术被排成七彩乐谱唱；
在音乐剧中，艺术被演绎成人物对白；
在小学数学课上，艺术和数学，被描绘成创意画作……
丰富的艺术活动，不仅体现了学校多元的学习成果，增加了校园艺术文化，也提高了学生创造力，掌握跨学科的知识，让师生们感受不一样的校园生活。
中学艺术周
本周，浪漫的艺术周在中学部上演。艺术中心大厅里多姿多彩的创意写意，尽显同学的美术天赋。管弦乐团的演出，余音绕梁，空前反响。戏剧专场中，观众在演员们营造的时空里，看到了勇士、战争与和平，在舞蹈专场中看到每一位同学的积极参与和热情洋溢。
艺术周不仅是孩子们的学习成果展示，也激励着他们在艺术领域继续深造，鼓励他们创造更多的价值和想法。艺术教育是朝阳凯文的特色课程之一。同学们通过艺术教育，认知美，学会协作，生发创意，收获了让他们受益一生的能力。
小小设计师
在二年级的数学学习中，同学们学习了对称，平移和轴对称图形。恰逢小学部低年级在5月参观了故宫，同学们在了解了掐丝珐琅这种传统工艺后，开始对“美”有了大胆的想象和创作。他们将数学课上学到的对称图形和掐丝珐琅工艺相结合，为艺术赏盘创作精美有趣的花边和背景。
随后，同学们把自己制作的精美用心的作品摆放到了公共休息区，邀请每一位路过的同学和老师、家长欣赏，为他们的作品投上宝贵的一票。
同学们在欣赏图形运动所创造出美丽图案的过程中，进一步感受到了轴对称、平移和旋转在生活中的广泛应用，感受到了数学的美。
音乐剧《怪物史莱克》
上周，凯文大型音乐剧《怪物史莱克》在艺术中心如期上演。该音乐剧引进百老汇原版版权。近80分钟的表演中，小演员们演绎了多达18首原版歌曲。精美的舞台实景道具，也深受到场观众的好评。
音乐剧《怪物史莱克》讲述了一个名叫史莱克的怪物从火龙的手中拯救公主的冒险故事。为了从邪恶的国王那里夺回自己的土地，史莱克要从由恶龙守卫的塔中救出菲奥娜公主。于是，史莱克和他的忠实伙伴驴子一起出发，开始了一段充满冒险、浪漫和欢乐的旅程。
在这段冒险故事中，为了取得成功，史莱克必须克服心中的障碍，相信自己，向他人敞开心扉。而小演员们也通过这样的冒险之旅，鼓励大家审视自己的偏见，同时努力了解自己和他人。
从表达能力到团队协作的能力，再到同理心的培养，都在这场一场音乐剧中得到从无到有的锻炼。
For the past two weeks, a rich feast of art has been spreading across CKWA Primary and Secondary school.
The various arts activities not only reflect the diverse learning achievements and increase the arts culture on campus, but also enhance students’ creativity and interdisciplinary knowledge, giving teachers and students a different experience of campus life.
Spring Arts Week
A romantic arts week was staged in the Secondary this week. The colorful and creative works in the Arts Centre hall showcased the students’ artistic talents. The orchestra’s tune lingered on the campus. In the drama play, the audience felt warriors, war and peace in the time and space created by the actors. The active participation and enthusiasm of every student fully showed in the dancing time.
The Arts Week is not only a showcase for pupils’ learning achievements, but also an inspiration for them to continue studying in arts and create more values and ideas. Art programme is one of CKWA Feature Programmes, and through this, students have been able to perceive beauty, develop creativity and abilities, which will benefit them for life-long time.
Musical Shrek
Last week, the musical Shrek was staged at the Arts Centre as scheduled. The musical introduced the original Broadway rights and the small cast performed as many as 18 original songs in the nearly 80-minute show. The beautiful live stage props were also well received by the audience. From students’ expressions to teamwork and empathy development, all were well practiced and formed in this musical.
Little Designer
In G2 Math class, students have learned symmetry and axisymmetric shapes. During the Lower Primary visit to the Forbidden City in May, the students were introduced to the traditional craft of cloisonne enamel, and this inspired them to imagine and create ‘beauty’ by themselves. They combined the symmetrical shapes they learnt with the art of enameling to create beautiful and interesting laces and backgrounds for the art plates. In the process of appreciating the beautiful patterns created by the movement of shapes, the students further experienced the wide applications of axisymmetry, translation and rotation concepts in life and the beauty of mathematics.
