In our CKWA vision, it lists that “Kaiwen Academy is to achieve both academic excellence and ethical maturity”.
Offering scholarships is one way of fulfilling this vision, encouragingstudents to develop their academic skills, potential and character formation. As scholarship programme also serves as a promotional tool for both students and the school. It conveys a message to our community and universities of our pursuit of excellence, and the school promotes continuous engagement with knowledge, as well as social, sporting and cultural development.
CKWA would like to introduce a substantial Scholarship Programme that reflects our pursuit of recruiting, keeping and supporting outstanding students in the school.In return, these scholars will act as a role model and cast a positive influence in the secondary school, as well as helping the school to build up a strong academic image in the community.
In the academic year 2021-2022, there are two types of scholarships available to secondary students entering G6 to G12 atCKWA. The scholarship aims to commend the students with excellent performance,motivate students to further excel in the pursuit of excellence, support students in their future development and encourage them to be role models for CKWA community. Award recipients can enjoy various degrees of tuition discount(not to exceed a period of three years), with eligibility reviewed annually.
1. Yinghe Overall Achievements Awards
CKWA offers 30% to 100% tuition discount for excellent in-house and prospective candidates entering G10 to G12.
2. Yinghe Merit Scholarship
CKWA offers honorary scholarship (no tuition feeremission) or up to 40% tuition off for secondary (G6-G12) in-house and prospective candidates who have shown unique talents in sports, arts or STEM.
The scholarship is awarded for a period not to exceed three years, with eligibility reviewed annually.
Award recipients will be prioritized when applying for an opportunity to be a member of the Student Council to support the student community.
Award recipients may beentitled to join in the following school clubs to further develop their interest.
Elite Sports Club
Join the school sports team without sitting for entrance assessment and enjoy the free training.
For individual sports, like swimming, there is a higher chance of having one-on-one training (further negotiation of the frequency/details is needed).

Join in the Hugo Robotics Club for free sessions of ASA plus 3 intensive sessions for Botball Competition/RoboRave Competition(Kaiwen Ruixin provides 3 hours of free intensive session, up to 5 students)

Join in the STEM program with British experts
One-on-one tutoring (Kawen Ruixin provides 5 hours offree tutoring, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, business, etc., which worthRMB 5,000, up to 8 students).
Robotics and AI specialisms catered for individual needs
Student applicants entering Grade 6 through Grade 12 may apply for a scholarship, subject to acceptable satisfaction of entrance and interview requirements.
