With the commencement of the new school term, the CKWA campus bids adieu to the winter chill and holiday tranquility. Additionally, the return of teachers infuses the new semester with enthusiasm and vitality.


Principal Madeleine Ma emphasized that the arrival of the new semester is also a big moment for the CKWA. She underscored the pivotal role of teachers in nurturing future leaders with a global outlook and competitive edge, thereby fulfilling the school’s mission of establishing the most impactful international education brand.


Teachers, as the most crucial drivers and guides in the field of education, directly impact the school’s development and students’ growth. To “Building The Most Influential Internationalized Premier-brand Education”, Principal Ma pointed out, “the essence of good education lies in fully unleashing the influence and empathy of teachers to equip CKWA students with greater international competitiveness, enabling their personal growth and fostering the ability to experience happiness, while also adapting to societal development and leading societal progress.”


The influence of teachers, for those who teach, lies only in their dedication!


Education must create an “environment” that consciously and purposefully impacts students! To better meet the evolving educational needs, all teachers actively participated in Professional Learning Communities (PLC) training, collectively exploring the latest trends and methods in education.


Creating an environment for talent growth, nurturing and inspiring interests, and forming high-quality teaching teams.


In PLC training, academic teachers shared their teaching experiences and insights about the core principles of international education. They discussed student needs, disciplinary trends, and how to better adapt to diverse student populations and cross-cultural teaching environments, actively exploring education methods and strategies suitable for the growth of international students.


Whether Chinese or international teachers, they all participated in discussions with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, jointly exploring the endless possibilities of education. Teachers from different countries and cultural backgrounds shared their teaching experiences and insights, inspiring and learning from each other, striving to provide students with better education services and guide them to become well-rounded talents.


To be a teacher who can actively influence students’ healthy growth

Teachers communicated and shared experiences, discussing how to better address students’ needs and interests, inspire self-directed learning, and cultivate healthy and mature personalities in the three domains of cognition, interpersonal skills, and self-awareness.

Primary Art Festival: Every child participated in the show while only six art teachers supported the entire performance.

Foreign teachers accompany students after school, waiting for late pick-ups from parents;

Some homeroom teachers wake up early in the morning to accompany students who arrive at school early.

Foreign teachers active students in different active ways every day, bringing good morning vibes to children and starting a vibrant day;

Top-tier teachers lead students in writing a reflection every week.

A good campus atmosphere guarantees the quality of teaching and students, and is the lifeline of a school! One campus, one culture. With students-centered goal, academic excellence, diverse pathways, comprehensive education for all, and individualized attention, confronts various situations with a positive and forward-looking attitude, stemming from one’s own efforts, which is the spiritual core that CKWAer should possess.


At the staff meeting, Principal Ma also released an upgraded interpretation of the school’s educational philosophy for teachers’ CKWA values, conveying professional expectations and goals for teachers in a clearer manner, thus better cultivating students’ healthy and happy growth at Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy.


With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the field of education is also undergoing a revolutionary transformation. The educational revolution in the AI era will profoundly impact teaching methods, learning experiences, and educational management, bringing new possibilities and opportunities to education. Faced with the changes of the era, CKWA individuals still embrace challenges with firm beliefs and open minds. We deeply understand that change is inevitable in the era. Fatima, a teacher from the International Curriculum Program (ICP) Humanities Department at CKWA outlined how AI intelligence can be effectively integrated into teaching. AI can not only tailoring personalized learning paths and teaching plans based on each student’s learning characteristics and needs but also promoting the intelligent transformation of educational assessment and monitoring.


In the new semester, CKWA’s academic innovation will appear in the form of project-driven initiatives, encouraging teachers and students with ideas, characteristics, and courage to show their talents. We are firmly committed to creating an environment that fosters talent growth and cultivate individuals with global competencies to adapt to social development. We hope that all CKWAers will welcome the new semester with even greater enthusiasm and stronger conviction. The future path may be full of challenges, but we believe that with our own efforts and the spirit of CKWA, we can forge ahead bravely and create our own brilliance.
